How will I survive in tough times?

You are the Answer!   My advice is simple: First, turn off the news! Too many sensational news reports about the job rate or the stock market, can have a demoralizing effect on your ability to move forward. That's right, I said "move forward"!  Secondly, you already have the answer when you look into the mirror. Your character and stamina may be tested, but the old line "look at the bright side" is all that you need to push forward every day. Tough times, are here, but soon they will fade, and what you do today (and everyday) will have a benefit to you and those around you. Trust in yourself and take charge. With these simple steps, you will not just survive, but will start to thrive!

Career development takes active... not passive  participation! If you want to excel then YOU must be the instrument of change.  This conventional wisdom usually holds true: "Work hard, take pride in your performance, and you'll be rewarded!" Remember there is no such thing as luck, the Roman philosopher Seneca said this: "Luck is where preparation meets opportunity!"
